What if I still need a pink slip?
If you still need a pink slip, you must organise a safety check from a local mechanic ASAP. If registration has expired, you have to drive unregistered by the quickest possible route to the mechanic. Then you must renew registration on the spot or as soon as you get home.
What if my rego has already expired?
If your rego has already expired, use the checklist to get a green slip fast. You’re not allowed to drive unregistered unless it’s for the purpose of registration.
What happens if my vehicle is unregistered?
Penalties are heavy if your vehicle is unregistered because that means it is also uninsured. See more about what it could cost you.
I don’t want this to happen again – please send me a rego reminder sticker.
