SIRA CTPAssist or Claims Advisory Service

The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) website is another valuable resource for people wishing to make a claim.

SIRA also operates a Claims Advisory Service now called CTPAssist.

CTPAssist can be contacted on 1300 656 919, between 8.30am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

If you know the registration number of the vehicle which caused your injuries, CTPAssist can advise you which insurer is the CTP insurer for that vehicle. Service NSW also provides a free greenslip and registration check service.

When considering a claim for injuries, you should always seek appropriate legal advice.
