Renew rego online for national parks discount

Motorists who renew registration online can get $15 national parks discount on two popular passes to NSW national parks.

The discount applies now. It runs from 20 December 2015 to December 2016 for one 12-month, annual All Park or Multi-Park Pass.

  • All Parks gives you entry to around 45 parks in NSW including Koscuiszko and costs $175 with the discount. It is great value if you like to go ski-ing and need unlimited access.
  • Multi-Parks gives you entry to around 44 parks in NSW, but not Koscuiszko, and costs only $50 with the discount.

It usually costs from $3 to $20 to visit a national park so buying an annual pass is already good value. Better still, funds go towards protecting bio-diversity, conserving sites of cultural significance and maintaining visitor facilities.

How to get the discount

Remember, only eligible drivers get the discount. These include drivers of passenger vehicles of 8 seats or under and used for personal purposes. It cannot be used with any other discount.

Go to https://www.service.nsw.gov.au and click on Renew rego.

Please follow instructions to renew. If you are eligible for the discount, you will see a link on the “finish” screen towards the bottom of the screen, underneath your renewal details.

Finally, use Service NSW to apply for a NSW Seniors Card, enrol to vote, or buy an Opal Card, among others.
