New Tweed branch for cancer patients

Can Assist Tweed

Can Assist, the support network for cancer patients, has just opened its new Tweed branch. It is the 56th branch opened by Can Assist. greenslips.com.au partnered with Can Assist to help open the branch. It will make a big difference to people who have to travel long distances to treatment and need their car to do it.

Daniel Ashton, Can Assist Tweed’s President says: “Needing a green slip often creeps up on you – but it’s an essential expense; without it, people can’t get where they need to go. Having a car is essential, it enables life to go on.”

The new Tweed branch is keen to attract more donations and also more volunteers to help do its valuable work. It also wants to attract any cancer patients who could benefit from Can Assist. Can Assist can help in a variety of ways, whether financially, getting a load of shopping, or providing a listening ear.

Can Assist Tweed has set up a give now portal for one-off donations. Donors can also arrange weekly/fortnightly/monthly donations, which are tax deductible and provided with receipts.
