Can Assist opens new branch in Tweed

ABC North Coast talks to Daniel Ashton, president, and Sandy Rogers, vice president, of the new Can Assist branch in Tweed.

Daniel talks about how the new branch in Tweed came about and how they hope to be the “backbone of the community for cancer patients”.

He says: “We can support with a accommodation. We can support by funding anything that’s needed. We don’t have criteria. We just look at each case by case and see what’s needed. And that’s how we’ll be here to step in and support them.”

Can Assist Tweed welcomes new volunteers, new donations, and any cancer patients who are looking for some assistance.
