Nobody likes tailgating yet we still do it

Tailgating may be one of the most hated driver habits on the road, yet many of us still do it. One main reason we tailgate is simply to stop other drivers taking a space in front of us. Of course, it’s not the only reason. When participants in a survey were asked why they tailgated, road rage and anger was the top response.

In-ground traffic lights for smombies

There’s a new word for people using smart phones without looking up to see where they’re going – “smombies”.

The Germans coined the word to combine “smart phone” and “zombie”. One enterprising German city in Bavaria has introduced in-ground traffic lights so texters don’t even have to look up.
